I originally grew up in Langdon, ND but moved out west to Minot and attended Minot State University. After finishing my schooling at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN I moved back to Minot where I am presently employed by Trinity Health as a Radiation Therapist/Medical Dosimetrist at the CancerCare Center.
I did a fair amount of fishing growing up but didn't get into the hunting scene until I met my wife. Her family was big into hunting and upon a few ride alongs knew this was my passion. I enrolled and took my hunter safety course at the age of 22 years old and haven't looked back. Since then, I have enjoyed every minute spent outdoors with friends and family. I especially enjoy bowhunting and spend many nights during the fall and early winter perched in a treestand or hunkered in a groundblind chasing the all elusive whitetail. I have even been know to sneak a hunt in on Christmas Eve before dinner and presents!!
My wife and I have one son who was born in 2008 so I am learning the role of dad very quickly!!
The outdoors has enabled me to meet total strangers who I now consider very good friends.
