South Dakota state law requires the entire animal (minus the guts) to be removed from any walk-in-areas. Instead of hiking to the truck for a game cart I put the hind quarters on my pack and drug the rest for 3/4's of a mile until W met up with me and he took the front shoulders. It would have been an easy pack if I could have boned him. It was a total of two and a half mile pack-drag, that part is always enjoyable too.Tags: pack, south, dakota, hiking, truck, entire, guts, game, minus, state
