Just talked to a friend of mine who said there snow pack hasn't even started to melt and they are going to get another 15-20" of snow in the next few days. Wow looks like spill way on Sak is going to be running over fast first part of July.

Not just that but South Dakota got snow and the Big Horns in Wyoming got snow.  Decent amounts actually.  I see winter storm warnings out for Montana when I looked last night.

The dam will be rolling water out.  Sorry Missouri folks...yur gonna get water and lots of it.

A pard in the same area told me they were just slaughtering bears this spring.  So much snow that any bear thats out is pretty much forced down to lower open country.

I love wild weather.

I say to hell with that pot o' gold.

Its crazy!  I live here in Beulah and have all my life, My folks have moved to Bozeman about 10 years ago.  I dad has been working up in Big Sky mountain working on condos.  He has not been able to work because of all of the snow.  He said  two weeks ago that the snow was up to his pickup window and later on during the week, they got like 18 to 24 inches.  He said the gallatin river is running but not like the spring roar.  We are going to have soooo much water coming, the spring run off really hasn't even started.  Going to be interesting for sure.

Interesting --- but its all a big delay -- the melt will happen, slow, ridge builds, were hot, NW stays cold, areas that used to have snow all summer will be just like the old days -- they will have snow, and before you know it --- snow will be falling here and the tundra builds again, hardwater.
Stay thirsty my friends
