Right now there is a total downpour of rain going through Parshall area. Just a heads up to anyone traveling to west ND that its going to be a mess once it cools down.

There is quite the band of precipitation headed across the state right now. Blizzard warnings out for a large area north and east of Bismarck including the Minot area. It could be very nasty out there later today.

Heavy wind driven snow in NE MT. Roads are very greasy.

I'll be heading from Fargo to Hazen/Pick City today. Leaving Fargo around 3:00. Should be a fun one to drive in!

If it pans out like they say I don't think you will want to be driving. That is about the time temps start to dip below freezing. It could be down right nasty once you hit the Highway 83 west country.

Tim,

We are still going to give it a shot. If it is really brutal we will just pull over at the nearest small town and stay the night. Hoping to make to the farm in Plaza tomorrow morning to start hunting for the weekend. Also to everyone, if you do drive, drive slow and safe. For me, I'll be driving damn slow. Perfect muskie weather/conditions right now in Minot. I'd be throwing something in a shock color right now. Be careful out there and remember YOUR judicious and steady speed may end up on someone's back bumper. Lay back, pass carefully and remember somehow, some way there's always kids involved. It's also courteous to pull to the side and allow someone to pass when feasable and possible. It's not a race, please deliberately lay off the gas when someone is trying to pass. Watch U-Tube Daytona or Talledega footage to see the potential.

Again, there's always kids involved.

Minot is 37 degrees. New Town and Williston are at 27 and 28 degrees. So there's the line.

Left tioga at 6:30am_35 lite rain.went to the Hamlet 2-11H.started to snow and blow at 9:30am.Drove back to tioga 35 to 40 visabilty 1/4 mile snow sticking to highway temps dropping.At Beaver lodge lact unloading,blowing and snowing,iam done for the day!!!

10:00am............It's a mixture in Dickinson right
now but the wind has really come up. I guess we

are in a "high wind warning", they cancelled the
winter weather advisory. The nasty stuff is north
and east of here, so the SW part of the state should
be ok for driving, but I would not wait until after
dark if you want to get somewhere.
