Photo Description:
Fishing has been brutal on the East End.  Let me re-state that, most of the big lake!  A kind word would be inconsistent as most anglers have struggled to continually put fish in the boat.  Rising water, temps, etc have all contributed.  Dani and I were off to a brutal start of our own but found an active group of fish finally.  This fish she is holding actually came off a different location from where our active school was.  It definitely lifted spirits, however.

It measured 22.5 inches and weighed an impressive 4 plus pounds.  By far the healthiest walleye this year in my boat.  Many have said they think their fish are healthier this year and this fella definitely fits that bill.

Nice going Dani!  Sorry I didn't take the best photo.  Way too low but I learned my lesson.  Won't do that again!

Sun burn is from the flash not doing it's job.  I have a junky camera.  Hint, hint:  Family members reading this should buy me a new camera.  FOX Island Outfitter has exatly what I want

Anyway, it was cloudy all day although Dani did get sun from the day before.  Mostly, however, the sun burn just looks that bad from the camera not doing it's job.  Guess I could have did some touch up with photo software but I didn't.  Probably end up making it worse.  Will try some day when I get time.

Yeah, this fish was cut.  Sorry walleye.

Chevy pickup...

So, I have no excuse.  Should have just did a normal attempt with the camera instead of trying something different.  I see I need to take a shade of blue out of the photo.  That might help the photo out.  Just a cloudy day.  With a little flash it is difficult to take quality photos when light is missing.
