Nice catch Sara.  Do you keep them and eat them when they're bloody like that or will they live if released?

The blood from the mouth area was from the hook. It won't harm the fish one bit, it'd be like you poking your finger with a needle, it'd just drip a little blood.

The other markings are just battle scars from the spawn. We don't keep any catfish over 23 or 24 inches.

Hahaha, it's a goldeye bite right now. We did manage to get some action on the Gourmet Redhorse Creme Fraiche though!

Yes,......I followed a blood trail of this HUGE Leopard Buck, I'm guessing between 2 and 3 pounds last night but couldn't find him. I shot him right in the neck with the .22 and I'm pretty sure he swan into a culvert.

She holds that cat like she used to serve salads at the Speedway restaurant.  Those were the days.  She is a good sport.  Can't wait to give her some crap again some day.
