Hit the lake and caught a few spawning male rainbows. Had 2 we couldn't get swim away. So we kept 2 for the smoker!!!! The kids had fun!

Thanks for sharing! The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. Re:Snow ya pretty low. This is an irrigation lake so these fish probably won't make next winter if something big doesn't happen. It's to bad too cause these fish will be just 3 years old this summer. 15 years ago this lake was the place to be for walleyes. Dead animals don't need fur anyway!!!!!!!!!!
