Photo Description:
Between three of us we found 28 sheds in 3 days.  Saw a lot of deer too.  I don't think this winter was too much trouble for them.

yep they are all mule deer.  We did see a couple whitetails though.  I didn't take too many pics of the sheds, a lot of them were a few years old and pretty chewed up.  We only brought back the good ones so if anyone is every hiking in the badlands and come across a log full of sheds, thats where we were ha.

This was the best set found in that area.  My buddy found this the week before.

You drive a chevy and having lunch off of Blacktail road about 4:00 ish?  I was in the area for a leisure drive.  Saw a pickup with I think two guys that looked to be out backpacking at some point in the day.

And hardscrabble, don't worry.  I wasn't looking for bone.  Was just on way to Ash Coulee road.

And yes hardscrabble, that is a grand mesa.  It has worked great for me over the last few years.  It isn't as light as I would like it to be but has made it through quite a few back country scouting, shed hunting, and hunting trips.
