 I had talked to him a few weeks ago... if i remember right i think he said just over 170.... congrats on a great deer again buddy.... wish i could be back in nodak scouting some big ones with ya this fall!!

thanks everyone...The deer went a little bit under 170 and Nevada Miller out of Bismarck did the mount.  Couldn't be happier and a picture doesn't even give the mount justice.  I scouted this buck and had him on camera for a month before season and he disappeared during the start of the season only to come back as I was about to draw on a good 8 pointer second week of the season.  I ended up shooting him a little far back and jumped him after waiting an hour to find him.  The worst happened, rained that night, came back with a buddy the next day and very very luckily, my buddy found him about ten steps into the opposite side of the woods we walked into.
