Opening Day Pheasants
Here's my dog Buck with a couple of opening day pheasants. It was cold and windy, but nice to get out again.

Spring Turkey
Went out hunting with Big J this weekend and shot this turkey. It was just a jake, but it'll taste damn good.

This was my first attempt at putting the tail feathers on a plaque. I think it turned out pretty good for a first timer.
1st Fish of the Year
Not the biggest, but my first fish of the year. I was only out for about 45 minutes, this was the only fish that I caught.

Nice smallmouth bass. The picture got a little blurry.
Moose
This moose was just west of my grandma's farm near Reynolds, ND. Pretty cool to see them up close.
Venison for the Freezer
Filled a concurrent doe tag this weekend. It's nice to have one cut, bagged, and wrapped up and ready for processing.
Geese
We had a blast shooting our limit of Canadians, plus we picked up 2 snows and 2 blues, along with a shoveler. It was my first time out shooting geese, and I'm definitely hooked! A big thanks to Travis
Opening Day
It was a good morning, saw a ton of pheasants, but only had two shots. Good to get out again.

Too bad I couldn't have tracked down the owner of the posted land, it would have been nice to fill another concurrent doe tag. She would not more for anything.

I was out pheasant hunting, and came across this guy. Good thing I threw in the old 222.

It was a good morning, shot my limit, and the cooler temps were awesome.

Finished up with my limit of birds this morning. All were really nice, big birds . . . doesn't get much better than that.

Shot this doe on Saturday morning. Still waiting for a big buck to volunteer, hopefully he does this weekend.
2010 Buck
This is my 2010 rifle buck, not the biggest one, but a nice 4x4. He looks better in person because of the "high" rack. I shot him the Friday after Veteran's Day in the late morning.

2011 Rifle Season
Well, here's the story . . . . I hunted a total of 8 days during rifle season and shot this guy with about 10 minutes left of light on Monday (11/14). I had sat pretty much all day in some CRP where
3 Man Limit
We had a fun hunt in the snow this morning, saw a lot of birds and enough held that we were able to shoot our limit. As you can tell, Buck was not impressed that I made him sit outside for the picture.

We had another fun hunt this morning, getting our limit, along with a bonus grouse.

Had another fun Saturday morning hunt with the fiance. We managed our limit in about 2 hours. She'll be taking her hunters safety this spring, so she can shoot some roosters next year.

Me and Hawkeyed had another good weekend of hunting, this picture was from Saturday morning. Couldn't ask for a better last weekend, we shot 4 pheasants on Friday, 5 phesants 2 grouse & 1 turkey
