I know a few of you hunt MT i am heading out with a buddy this weekend, and probably going to take the AR for coyote patrol. Do you need any licenses to hunt coyotes? Only thing i can really see is you need the state land 10$ permit. What are your expierences.

So why apply for a doe tag if you don't want to shoot it?  Just apply for a buck and then get your money back if you don't draw.

3x that's why i tend to go to MT a lot no laws(especially at the waterholes). I just figured if i am going to be out trying to spot deer for him it wouldn't hurt to make a stand or two while he is walking the draws.

you only need the state land permit if you are going to be hunting state land other than that you need to purchase nothing to hunt coyotes in MT (other than permission).
