hey just wondering if anyone has been out in the newtown area and what ice, snow and fishing conditions have been like... want to go out with the old man tomorrow and make it a good time so any info would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Re:I'm going to head out a bit west of you around the tobacco garden area, I'm guessing driving would be tough with all the water and slush so I'm not even planning on driving on it tomorrow but who knows once I get there. I would say just make sure you have a good pair of waterproof boots and it should be a great day to be out.
I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one. |

Re:There has been very few people fishing. As double mentioned, the main culprit is never seen before amounts of water and slush on the ice. Makes things difficult.
Fishing could be challenging. I would target saugers and hope a few walleyes mix in with the catch. Good luck.
