Memorial Day Weekend

Ladies~

What are your plans for the big weekend?  Anyone taking in some fishing or other outdoor activities?

If you have a chance - Share your photos of your catch or other activity of the weekend with us in the Photo Gallery.

I hope to get some fishing in and I really hope I have some pictures to share.

Happy Memorial Day weekend!

My plans aren't Memorial Day specific, but I'll be working with scuba students in a private sandpit we use for training.  Hope to see lots of fish around the Christmas tree piles and tire piles that have been placed in this lake for fish habitat.

Whoa - I was hoping to see fish, but didn't know I'd be seeing fish like I saw!  I saw some HUGE crappie, and a few bass, a couple of which were very nice sized.  There were crappie of various sizes, along with the bass, by the Christmas tree pile, and then by a tire pile a few feet away there were some gargantuan crappie.  I wasn't able to take a camera underwater with me because I was escorting student divers, but I hope to get a pic or two of these awesome fish sometime when I don't have a student with me.  They were cool!

That just sounds so cool - I'd love to see some photos of what you see underwater.  If you ever get a chance, please share them with us on the site.

I got skunked this weekend when we went fishing but my four year old daughter learned how to cast quite well.  That was fun to see!  :)

I don't have an underwater camera yet, but if I can get one down there and get some pics, I'll certainly post them here.
