Lake Oahe, Missouri River - Monday, December 26, 2011

Report Details
I did make it down to Mobridge for the weekend and did get out fishing.  Looks like north of Mobridge, the Grand River and Oak Creek is about the best ice your going to fish.  North of Mobridge we fished two places on the main lake with each having around 6 inches of good ice. But, there is alot of open water around the bridges and some open water in the Grand so you definitely want to use caution everywhere   You'll be able to catch as many 12-14 inchers as you want and we did catch a fair amount of 15 and 16 inchers.  A few over 20 were also manageable each day.   What this nice weather is going to bring, I don't know??
