LADIES DUCKS UNLIMITED CHAPTER TO HOST 24TH ANNUAL

 
BISMARCK – The Central Dakota Ladies Ducks Unlimited Chapter will host its 24^th Annual “Ladies Night” Banquet on Thursday, Oct. 22 at the Radisson Inn in Bismarck. The Banquet’s theme has a feminine twist, offering jewelry, purses, spa packages, makeovers and more, in addition to Ducks Unlimited prints, sculptures, firearms and other merchandise that are offered at traditional Ducks Unlimited events.

 
“There are a lot of women involved in Ducks Unlimited, and we want to give not just sportswomen, but all women an opportunity to get together and enjoy an evening with the girls while helping the organization with its mission,” said Chapter Chair, Mary Jo Irmen. “The event continues to grow, and we really appreciate the help of area businesses who help make our event unique and special by donating money to underwrite items or the merchandise that really sets this banquet apart from others held across the state.”

 
Each year, the Central Dakota Ladies Chapter builds off its “Ladies Night” theme, offering free wine to attendees. A live and silent auction, as well as several raffles and games, feature prizes ranging from spa packages, jewelry and art to firearms and hunting apparel. This year, the banquet will also feature a two-day upland game hunt for two people in Southwest North Dakota valued at $1,300. The hunt package is provided by Cannonball Company of Regent, ND, and includes a guide, trained hunting dogs, the daily limit of upland game and two nights lodging in the late 2010-2011 season.  Tickets for the hunt are for sale now, and you need not be present at the banquet to win. The Banquet will begin with registration and a social at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will begin at 7:00 p.m. Attendees can purchase raffle tickets, play games and bid on silent auction items until 7:30 p.m. when drawings and the Live Auction begin.
