Italian Venison Sandwiches

Italian Venison Sandwiches
 
2 c. water
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp dried parsley flakes
1 tsp beef bouillon granules
½ tsp celery salt
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ tsp pepper
1 boneless venison roast (3-4 lbs) – cut into 1 inch cubes or slice in preferred thickness
Sandwich rolls
Green pepper rings
 
Combine first nine ingredients and place in a slow cooker. Add venison and stir. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until meat is tender. Using a slotted spoon, place meat onto rolls. Top with pepper rings if desired. 10-12 servings.
