I have an old camper and i want to make it into a ice house for fishing.  I have a few concerns on if it is legal or not? or how to get it low enough to the ice. looking for some advice or cool things to do with it!?!?

Anyone care to share some wheel house frame plans? I am hoping to have one ready to go for next season. Ice has been gone for less than a month and i cant wait till the ice is on again

Just got back from lake winnipeg. Betwwen four hundred and fivehundred fish six guys

Very tough on the equipment side of things. Starting to get slushy should have a week to go. Minnows are about forty cents each for live ones. Biggest was 28 inches half were 24 or bigger 

I am taking a trip up to Devils Lake to fish next weekend. Was wondering how thick the ice is? With this warm weather moving in, it could make it bad for ice conditions. Thanks.

For most normal people any ways.......Highlite of attached; 2 trucks and 2 atv's went through on Monday alone. Wise up people and be safe, a fish is NOT worth dying over.

thinking of hitting the red friday and since theres a bunch of guys that have been fishing figured I would see about the ice conditions? the guys I'm going with want to bring 4 wheelers and was wondering if theres enough ice down south of town still for them

I have an ice fishing tripped planned for next week on Lake Winnepeg. Anyone know how the ice conditions are up there right now or will be next week. I have a feeling a may have to cancel the trip.

Kind of a long shot but my buddy was up at Lake of the Woods fishing out of Wigwam Resort on Sunday March 11th and on the way home the tailgate fell down and he lost some of his gear out the back. It was a 5-gallon pail with 6 ice rods and 5 fish in it. Also his brand new air carpet stapler fell out too. He said it fell out between the Wigwam and the Zippel Bay turn, which is where they found out the tailgate fell open. Went back and the items were already snatched up. He isn't as worried about the crappy ice rods and small fish, but he lays carpet for a living and he is in a bind without the air stapler. Thanks for your attention to this issue.

Just curious if anyone can offer any good advice as to which way a guy should lean, FL-18 or X67?

 Fished the red twice this weekend with nothing to show for it, but thats fishing. Im now determined to figure this river out!

First evening....scared of river ice.... drilled a hole about 5 feet from shore drilled threw an easy 16" of ice then right into mud...lol. Well there's enough ice any way, drilled a couple more holes around a corner where i thought would be more slack water. First hole 5 fow the next hole 7 fow, perfect. I flip my shack over and start fishing. Fished from 4til 7 marked two fish no bites.

Second evening fishing same area only a bit deeper and near submerged trees. There was a little more current as i was more towards the main channel. Drop my deadstick down and right away my bobber is acting funny...fish maybe....nope snag..damn. Proceed to jig in my other hole with a 3/8 oz buckshot right away a fish comes flyin off the bottom and stops at my jig. I pause....jiggle...waiting for thump....fish goes back down. I quickly drop down plain jig head with a fathead. Fish comes back up looks goes away completely. Did not mark anything rest of evening. Fished From 3 til 7.

I was fishing south of fargo and the river seems really low where i was, but i would have thought that was good. I normally drill tons of holes trying to find active fish but again im scared of river ice so i didn't wander around much. Any of you river rats out there have any advice for a novice red river angler? I would appreciate any input. Im gonna keep plugging away and posting my results.
