East Devils lake - Sunday, May 29, 2011

Went out Saturday the 29th on East Devils lake. Brought my 5yr old son for his first big water adventure in a boat. Ended up catching 40+ white bass, a dozen or so northerns, 17 eyes(15-22") After we had our limit of eyes in the well, we had a blast with the bass. Even busted out the fly rod and got a few on that. My son managed a devils lake trio. (bass, pike, eye). He hasn't stopped talking about our day on the water. We caught fish slippin, pitching jigs and cranks. All fish came out of 3-6ft of water. Hot cranks were chart/white SSR5 and hot steel SSR5. Pink jigs with white gulp worked well also. All in all a fun day on the big lake.
