Hey Ladies! Just wanted to let you all know that Game and Fish now has the brochure and registration forms up on their website for this year's Becoming an Outdoors Woman workshop! It's not up on the main page yet, but if you go into the Education/Outreach section and under the heading Becoming an Outdoors Woman, just download the brochure! It's a three day event, Friday August 7th to Sunday, August 9th. The cost is $135 dollars, and worth every dollar! They have a few new classes this year, all of which look very interesting and fun! Some of the classes do fill up very quickly, so the sooner you get you registraction in, the more likely ya are to get the classes you want!! Hope to see you guys there!!! ~Kristin~

Annual Summer Workshop - August 7-9, 2009
An annual three-day workshop in August provides participants an opportunity to take in four sessions covering various outdoors activities. Evenings are devoted to entertaining programs. Cost for the workshop is $135. Attendance is limited to the first 100 participants.
Workshop topics include archery, canoeing, field dressing big game, introduction to firearms, fly fishing, kayaking, navigating outdoors, fishing rod constructing, duck decoy painting, Dutch-oven cooking, basic GPS (global positioning system), plant identification, and tracking and trapping.
This workshop has been approved through UND Professional Development for Educators, University of North Dakota for one continuing ed college credit upon completion of workshop and submission of essay along with fee for credit.
