I shot a good looking pintail last weekend and am thinking about getting it mounted.  Does anybody know any good waterfowl taxidermists around the Bismarck area?

Send your bird here, http://www.waterfowler.net/Artistic/index.php

The quality of work is second to none, check out his work...simply amazing.

Worth the $$ in my book.

I have a Drake Oldsquaw / Longtailed Duck that I will be sending there.

I sent mine to birdmanstudios.com and he does awesome work.  Had a green winged teal that had been in the freezer a long time and no one around here really wanted to touch it, sent it to him, came back amazing.  I have a drake buff and a drake hooded merganser there now, sending a drake woodie and a drake gadwall there soon.  Hoping for a ringer and a can yet but not looking good for the weather.  He also offers 90 day express for an extra 90 dollars so if you want it back quick he's great for that also.

it's a shame what happened to the demise of the old squaw name that mutated to the long-tail.  next thing you know, they'll want to change the name of the FIGHTING SIOUX

canvasback,  I want to get one now, just incase they have a bad year next year and we can't shoot one.  Wish a guy could use a layout boat in north dakota, man i think that would be fun to just be sitting in the middle of a hundred duck decoys trying to shoot a diving duck that screams by at what seems about mach 7.

Why can't you use a layoutboat in ND?Curious as I know a guy who just hauled 3 all the way from the east coast, with full intent to use them.

Ha, rooster there are so many decisions.  The pintail is in a little bit of rough shape and I don't really want to send it anywhere so I'm either going to go with wet and wild taxidermy or take it to the grand forks guy when I go watch some sioux hockey.
