Hiking/Backpack Checklist
When packing your backpack, remember to pack like items together, which will save you time when looking for items for quick findings.

Re:A few more items:
GPS or a compass, even if you do not really know how to use compass it can keep you going in a relatively straight line rather than circling. Snake bite kit. I would actually list Food on the checklist......things not on list have been forgotten (!) Contact Lens supplies (if needed or wanted) If you do go to bear country bag EVERYTHING with a scent or that is salty. Bears will go after toothpaste, deoderant, shampoo, contact solution (it is salty), foot powder etc. And remember they happily climb trees and will go WAY out on a limb for that "pic-i-nic basket, BooBoo"! Putting the Second Ammendment first - it protects ALL the other Ammendments!
