Would a potical 3rd party now be able to put poeple in office?  Not just the WH but in both houses?    The WH is a complete failure, and both houses are working hard to get there with the WH can a 3rd party be the answere? I know we have the Tea Party but in the end how much difference did they really make?

N o way will a third party get in,all you would be doing is assuring the messiah another 4 years ,and I don't think we can handle that.

Coming up with a good name for their party would be a great help.  "Tea" party is just stupid, and someone calling themselves an "Independent"  sort of labels them as a lone wolf.

Why hasn't someone started the "American" party yet?

I say to hell with that pot o' gold.

only way is if some big name jumps ship and he/she would need a lot of big bucks like maybe big oil money and a 3-4 yr head start.
Ron Paul is too old .  If someone dares to put up with the trash digging they would win  or maybe a 20 yr IRS audit some of the trash diggers will go back to 1th grade and say you cried and then you would have to prove why.

The best democrat platform a Republican can stand on it a manure pile

I'd rather see the party affiliates disappear altogether.  That would force people to pay more attention to their candidates and research their voting history.  they're all from the same party now, there's just extremists going both directions.

I think this time is coming, and way overdue. I would welcome a third party with open arms so long as they arent controlled bye big money corporations. The system we have now is doomed. I cannot hardly stand to talk politics anymore because it is all based on lies and money.

For once I agree 100% with you.   So far this last year in Washington on both sides make me want to replace everyone of them.  I know that can't happen but a 3rd party would help   .

You all do know that there are many different political parties active in the U.S., right? Not only are there the R's and D's, but Libertarian, Socialist, Communist, Reform, and Green parties to name just a few.

What they are all lacking is a dose of reality.

I have thought that all along too.   What ever happened to the NPL ?     Did they fizzle out from lack of support ?

Agree 100%, when people go vote all names are in one box for said position with no R or D behind names for the sheep to look for
